Today is not the anniversary of the blog. That day already passed, but I would like to talk to my experience with blogging so far. For what I've gathered and understand, blogging is a social-media platform where people like me are able to give the world an insight into my talents, my experiences, my ideas, my passions and ultimately my world. I am so stoked that I've let myself get involved in this blogging stuff. I never thought that I would have one in the first place because the idea of having a blog was foreign to me. I started with a simple idea, a very small one. Involving a cat and a television set. It represented everything that I've been passionate about, and with this blog it gave me a voice. Mind you, I still have a lot to learn about blogging, and writing good articles and the whole 9 yards.
In the beginning I didn't know how to approach writing a blog. I started to write little shit the only way I know how. I know I have the tools, I have the videos, tutorials and all of that. I watched some videos, did some research, but in the end I said fuck it, I rather do it my own way. After looking back on my earlier posts in my blog I realized that what I was doing before wasn't all that great. It was due to grammar issues that I didn't look over, a lot of offensive language that I could of toned down, and paragraphs that could of been restructured. I really took a different approach along the months of trying different things out.
It's all about trial and error, improvement and being consistent with the blog (which is something that I'm still working on) I've worked on the presentation of the blog, how it will look to the viewers and audience. Honestly I can say that in a year I've came far in my self-effort with this blog. I'm proud of it, and I'm proud of myself. I'm still skeptical in whether or not I really have people (readers/fans or whatever) who actually notice this blog and read up on it.
If I do... Thank you. I would like to give a big shout out to all of you.
Happy Anniversary to Idiot Box Cat.com
